Velvet Sky done at TNA; WWE next?

One of the most popular women in wrestling said good bye to TNA Impact Wrestling on Thursday.

There have been rumors swirling about restructuring of contracts at TNA, but Velvet confirmed her release from the company on her Twitter account.

"I have been granted my release by TNA at this time. It's what's best for me right now and I wanted to thank TNA and all the fans for their constant support in me. Stay tuned though," she tweeted.

Let the speculation begin as to whether Velvet will show up in WWE. Mick Foley, for one, endorsed this idea on Twitter.

"I think @VelVelHoller would be a valuable addition to the @WWE Divas roster. Hope it happens," Foley said Thursday.

Velvet is a former tag team champion and Knockouts champion in TNA Impact. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked her the No. 17 best singles wrestler among women in the industry in 2011.

In June 2012, she was featured in Montgomery Gentry's music video for their song "So Called Life."

vince mcmahon should sign both Velvet Sky and Angelina Love to the WWE, because what he has now is nothing compared to The Beautiful People. The real Divas of wrestling.
