To Be The Champ

While most of us in this area were either overjoyed that the Eagles won or simply that the Cowboys lost, NBA Star LeBron James had something else on his mind. When LeSean McCoy did his post-game interview with a classic WWE Championship Title over his shoulder, James had one question:

When I first saw this tweet last night, my thoughts ranged from, "Doesn't he have people for that?" to "Hasn't he ever seen the DX advertisements for WWEShop.com?"

The response was quick, with not one (as reported by WWE.com) but three offers for championship titles!

First, the Champ (who is no longer the Champ, but you know what I mean) showed he was here to help:

And later:

The next response was for yet another classic title:

And, following in his father's footsteps:

And, last, but not least, the People's Champ, from Miami, of course, chimed in:

Which offer would you accept?

WWE Couple Has Connection to Wildfire

Photo posted by Daniel Bryan
(@WWEDanielBryan) to announce his
engagement on Sept. 27.
Back in September, Daniel Bryan proposed to Brie Bella while hiking in Big Sur, Calif. Sunday night, the proposal was part of the "Total Divas" season finale. By Monday, a wildfire was burning in Big Sur.

As of today, the fire is 88 percent contained, and is expected to be fully contained by tonight, according to news reports. While wildfires can be expected in any forest area, the season has lasted longer in California thanks to the drought. About 850 acres have been destroyed, as well as at least 22 buildings.

There is a fund to assist in recovery efforts, if you or someone you know is interested.

We Won A Slammy!

It has come to our attention that New Jersey was awarded the Slammy for "Best Crowd of the Year" earlier this evening. We would like to accept the award on the state's behalf.

Our crowd that memorable night after WrestleMania 29 was enthusiastic, opinionated and, some might say, raucous. We created Fandangoing. We made Dolph Ziggler's night. We pissed off "the face of the company." Some may say it was Europeans in town for WrestleMania who led the actions of the crowd, but anyone who knows someone from Jersey knows we don't need much influence to act the way we did that night. We would like to thank the WWE and the WWE Universe. We'd also like to thank Michael Cole for teaching fans each week how to download the app so people could vote on things like the Slammys. And, last, but not least, we'd like to thank AJ Lee for representing us each week.
