Orton suspended
Randy Orton won't be seen again until Summer Slam. WWE.com announced today that the third-generation superstar was suspended for his second violation of the Wellness Policy. The suspension lasts 60 days.
He was suspended twice in 2006, but one was not considered a Wellness Policy violation, even though Orton reportedly admitted to being caught smoking marijuana backstage.
Does Orton get special treatment because he is an Orton? And what happens now with yet another major star out of the picture for a while?
I, for one, fear the upcoming three-hour Raws and Smackdowns... how many times can they replay Cena/Big Show/Laurinaitis talking during the first 20 minutes of the show? I think I'll DVR the shows, and start watching a hour behind so I can fast forward through all the filler...
