Holiday Gift Guide

It is the day after Thanksgiving, so it's time for my annual gift ideas list. At shop.wwe.com, use the code "YES" to get 20% off your order today only. TNA has a 10% deal today, but I did not see a code on the site...

For the Olympics Fan: Kurt Angle Save Wrestling Shirt. Wrestling is back in the 2020 Olympics, but the fan who signed petitions, shared his outrage and was the first to let everyone know when the IOC finally made the right decision, will still want this shirt as a souvenir to wear during the games.

For the Diva: A Cohabitation Agreement. She'll love this, especially if she's already unpacked all 100 of her shoes. Just ask John Cena.

For the Diva, really: Anything from the Stratusphere shop. There's even a limited supply of Raw Magazine Covers signed by Trish and Lita.

For the Gamer: WWE 2K14. You can find it wherever video games are sold, but it is on sale for only $35 today at Target stores.

For Dad: The History of WWE: 50 Years of Sports Entertainment DVD or Blu-ray. Where else can you find the first episode of Raw, Hogan v. Andre at WMIII and the Montreal Screwjob?

For the Little One: WWE Rumblers. There's a set with Macho Man and CM Punk. Get that one, if you can find it at Target, Kmart or Toys"R"Us.

For the Cook: JR's Original Bar-B-Q Sauce. It's a must have, even if you're not a WWE fan.

For the Best Secret (or not-so-secret) Santa: CM Punk "Best In The World" Santa Hat. Something tells me you'll gift this one to yourself...

Raw Goes Hardcore Country?

For tonight's Raw in Nashville, the WWE is promoting a country theme, and even plans to have Florida Georgia Line perform. But, will a country music Diva be there to perform as well?

Mickie James' Twitter profile photo (@MickieJames)
Over the weekend, WWE.com posted a Q&A with Mickie James. The former Women's Champion, Divas Champion and TNA Knockouts Champion was visiting the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, which happens to be a popular stop for wrestlers before making their returns, for obvious reasons. She said she was there last week to "pass a little knowledge" to the newbies. James left TNA in September after she and the company could not agree on terms for a new contract, so she should be free to perform for WWE.

(I will admit, since James did crazy before AJ Lee was out of high school, it would be neat to them confront each other.)

In case you have not been keeping up with James' career outside the ring, she has recorded two country music albums. Her song "Hardcore Country" was her ring entrance music in TNA, and, since it is her actual song, I would suppose she could use it in WWE as well...

Victory Dance?

Now we know the real reason why John  Cena did not take Nikki to Natalya's wedding... these are his dancing abilities:

Total Talk

Total Divas is coming back this Sunday, which means the stars of the show are not only getting more time on Raw (two matches!), but are making the talk show rounds.

Today, the Bellas and the Funkadactyls were on the Steve Harvey Show, and I watched it so you wouldn't have to. (Amazingly, the Bellas weren't the only twins on the show. Yeah, they put the Divas on in the middle of the show so I couldn't turn it off early...)

Nikki got to explain the show after Steve told them they didn't look like wrestlers. He says he watches wrestling, then was surprised by who was dating/engaged to whom. (Maybe he's one of those guys who leave the room when the Divas perform.) He also didn't seem to understand that the wrestlers who are rivals in the ring can actually be friends in real life. At least he didn't call wrestling fake...

The ladies then finished the segment with a booty dance off. Yup.

Fortunately, the new episodes should be an interesting look at how Daniel Bryan (the anti-Kanye, for you E! viewers) proposed to Brie, how Nikki and John Cena handle their injuries and how Ariana and Eva Marie cause even more trouble.

Holy Best Costume!

You may know Jerry the King Lawler owns the Batmobile (or at least one of them) from the 1960s show. But, did you know he he also owns a Batman costume?

For Halloween, Lawler took the Batmobile for spin as the Caped Crusader, and even found himself a Boy Wonder!
