By now, everyone should know the advertised appearances for the 1,000th episode of Raw: Brock Lesnar, The Rock, Mick Foley and an opening brought to us by D-Generation X. With this three-hour Raw at PPV levels, there's got to be more people showing up, right?
Right.
Think mini-WrestleMania.
First of all, DX isn't just Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Road Dogg is now back with the company and should be showing up. That means it's possible other members of the stable (not Chyna) could show up, too.
Triple H's other segment for the night should also include Paul Heyman, since he is Lesnar's representative.
Rowdy Roddy Piper did reveal he would be at Raw via Twitter, calling the episode a "family reunion." He also tweeted:
To which Jim Ross responded:
I had heard about a month ago somewhere (possibly from his Twitter, but I cannot confirm it-- I know it was something legit) that Bret Hart would also be at the event. There are rumors Stone Cold Steve Austin will also be there, and possibly be the legend Heath Slater faces Monday night.
If Austin is there, does that mean his fellow Tough Enough trainers will be there, too? Well, Booker, of course, is on Smackdown, so I would assume he would be there. Trish Stratus is rumored, and although she is very busy, I wouldn't be surprised if she makes time to be there. If Bill DeMott was asked, he would probably be there, too.
Back to Heath Slater, it's also possible, but not likely, the legends he's faced over the past several weeks will also make appearances. I say not likely because those are usually one time deals. To recap, some of the guys he's faced include Doink the Clown, DDP, Vader, Bob Backlund, Sycho Sid, Rikishi and Road Warrior Animal.
I would be surprised if the usual suspects Mean Gene and Mae Young do not make some sort of appearance.
Last, but not least, while Shawn Michaels competed in the first Raw episode, he is not the only who is still sometimes around. The Undertaker could somehow materialize in the ring. (Maybe he'll even assist Kane in stopping AJ's wedding. If Kane cares. I don't know.)
